Declaration Letter

Regarding the Rights of English Translation and Transfer of the Translated Book

I, Jeet Bahadur Rayamajhi, the original author of the book “Mithila Folk Art: An Introduction”, hereby make the following declarations:

1. As the sole owner of all intellectual property rights under Sections 4 and 5 of the Copyright Act, 2002 (2059 B.S.), and pursuant to Section 13 of the same Act, I voluntarily grant Mr. Krishna Prasai the exclusive right to translate this book into English, as well as to promote, sell, and distribute the translated work.
2. I grant you full rights to publish, distribute, reprint, and broadcast the English-translated work through any medium—printed, digital, audiobook, online, or any other medium that may be developed in the future.
3. This transfer of rights may only be amended or revoked in the future with the mutual consent of both parties. Such changes shall be valid only in written form.
4. You may exercise these rights within Nepal as well as internationally, without any geographical limitations.
5. All expenses required for publication and all revenue generated from future sales shall belong to you. If any additional research or writing is required for the book, decisions will be made through mutual consultation. Additional consultations will also take place for any future editions.

I hereby sign this declaration letter stating that all of the above-mentioned points are true, correct, and made of my own free will.
