Translation: Power of Attorney

The written declaration by Mr. Ishwar Khanal, aged 35 (Citizenship No. 042046-338, issued on 2009-03-03 (2065/11/20 B.S.) by the District Administration Office, Jhapa), grandson of Bishwakanta Khanal and son of Jeevaraj Khanal, a permanent resident of Gauradaha Municipality-05, Jhapa District, and currently residing at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-09, Kathmandu District—1.

Since Ms. Pavitra Khatri (Citizenship No. 04-06-79-02025, issued on 2023-03-06 (2079/11/22 B.S.) by Jhapa District Administration Office), aged 23, daughter of Bishnulal Khatri, a permanent resident of Aathawan Tole, Gauradaha Municipality-05, Jhapa District, and currently residing in Hattimara, Miklajung Rural Municipality-04, Morang District, has filed a case against me at the Morang District Court regarding divorce and property division, if I am required to appear before the Honorable Court to submit a response or to proceed with the hearing on the scheduled dates, I will not be able to be present due to the necessity of traveling abroad for urgent work.

Therefore, in accordance with Section 153(1) of the National Civil Procedure Code, 2017 (2074 B.S.), I hereby grant this Power of Attorney to Mr. Isil Khanal, aged 21 (Citizenship No. 04-06-78-00922, issued on 2021-10-21 (2078/07/04 B.S.) by the District Administration Office, Jhapa), grandson of Bishwakanta Khanal and son of Jeevaraj Khanal, residing at Gauradaha Municipality-05, Jhapa District, to act on my behalf in this matter.

Under this authorization, he is permitted to appear before the Honorable Court on my behalf, submit written replies, conduct the preliminary defense, file appeals, enter into settlements, and, if necessary, lodge complaints against the opposing party, withdraw them, file appeals again, conclude settlements, and perform all other acts related to the case on my behalf.

I shall not raise any objections or complaints in the future regarding any acts done under this Power of Attorney. I also confirm that no court fees, government dues, fines, or penalties remain unpaid by me; if any are later found unsettled, this Power of Attorney shall be void and treated according to law.

Having fully understood the contents of this document, I have willingly executed this Power of Attorney in the presence of witnesses and have signed and sealed it before the Honorable Judge of the Kathmandu District Court. This certified Power of Attorney is hereby handed over to the authorized representative, Mr. Isil Khanal.

Thus written and executed on the 24th day of Mangsir, 2082 (corresponding to December 9, 2025), Monday.
